Perched atop a rocky outcrop overlooking the ocean, this Carmel residence strives to appear as a natural extension of the landscape while resolving competing private and public concerns.

The large area of the house was disguised by splitting the house into two wings, recessing the house into the site and locating nearly half of the space partially underground. The plan-split created a courtyard, the eastern wing providing privacy from Highway One and the western wing buffering the ocean wind.  Secondary spaces are located on the lower floor and borrow light from above through three staircases. These spaces provide respite from the panoramic drama on the upper floor.

Walls are located only where absolutely necessary for privacy or structure and treated as monolithic elements.  Stone cladding predominates, rooting the house in the site and visually connecting with the rocky cove. - Designed by Sagan Piechota Architecture

Soho Beach House is a private members club, hotel and spa located on the historic site of the Sovereign Hotel. This site has been redesigned and expanded to include a 16-story ocean front tower. Soho Beach House includes 50 rooms, a screening snug, 2 pools, a beach club, and an expansive Cowshed spa and a 100 foot long pool surrounded by lush gardens and a tiki bar .The beach house has a Cecconi restaurant open to non members.

Health Center designed by Gaeta-Springall is simple yet dynamic and rational.The focus was to build a new building with an existing one, according to Gaeta_Springall “this building served as an "L" around a space devoted so far to be parking. The new project will therefore solve the subject vehicle and would have a new building that will house offices, public areas and services”. The building contains a big lobby that provide access to clinics and public art. The issue got resolved by an underground parking for both buildings which also allow natural light and ventilation. Over all building structure is modern and painted in white which makes gives the effect of purity also color white affect us mentally and physically and evokes purification of thoughts and activity.
